Our Thread Reducers are
designed to allow the use of dent balls with a thread size that is different
than the dent rod thread size. Machined from 12L14 steel with case hardened
threads. Flats have been machined into reducer’s sides to accommodate a wrench
for tightening reducer onto dent rod.
The thread sizes listed indicate each reducers actual thread configuration. For
example, if your dent rod has 1/2-13 threads and you want to attach a dent ball
with 3/8-16 threads, order the #2660 Reducer.
